Naturopathic Consultations

Our aim in our naturopathic consultations is to support you in working towards your best health outcomes. This includes caring for your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. We will begin with an initial consultation, which will take approximately one hour. During this time, we will gather important information about you, including your current signs and symptoms, medical and family history. Together, we will focus on any health concerns that you have and empower you to enhance your health and well-being. Our role is to guide you toward your health goals. Follow-up consultations, if necessary, take approximately 15-30 minutes, to create an ongoing treatment plan for you. This will provide you with guidance on your journey to alleviating any acute or chronic conditions you experience.

During our consultations, we will follow the six principles of Naturopathic Medicine, which are as follows:

  6. Prevention is Better than Cure

Our goal is to help you take responsibility for your health and well-being and to use the power of nature to support you in pursuing optimal outcomes.

Who are we and why should you choose to work with us?

We are a qualified with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) with the latest science-backed evidence and traditional Naturopathic wisdom.

We practice patient-centred care, meaning your health goals directly influence our treatment goals. Our duty is not to overwhelm you with information or products but to work with you to find practical solutions that are within your means, including your financial, informational and health literacy needs. We are committed to staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in the treatment of our patients.

Our consultations are held in a safe and secure space. We promise to deliver our consultations with integrity, within our scope of practice, qualifications, and professional responsibilities.

To get the most out of working with us, we request you be open-minded and open to change. To enable your growth, we invite you to learn with guidance and care from us.

Naturopathy uses many modes of treatment, including herbal tonics & tinctures, teas, homeopathic, flower essences, iridology, diet, lifestyle, and behavioural skills. What We Expect from You

It is your responsibility to provide us with all relevant information so that we can perform our role effectively. It is crucial that the information you provide is both true and accurate, as this allows us to tailor your treatment plan to your specific needs. Withholding information can compromise your treatment plan, we ask you for your complete medical and family history, a list of all medications, supplements, and any recreational drug use, this is essential to investigate any contraindications with our suggested prescriptions.

It is also important that you keep your medical practitioner informed of our relationship. By updating your healthcare team, we can provide a more meaningful and collaborative approach that prioritises your health. We find that working in a collaborative manner across various modalities provides the best outcome for you.

Important Information

During our naturopathic consultations, we may challenge your current diet and lifestyle choices to promote your health and well-being. If you're unwilling to make any changes, please consider if we are the right practitioner for you.

Before working with us, you'll be asked to complete an initial intake form to provide some preliminary information before our first consultation. This will allow us more time to gather relevant information and ask further questions in our consultation. Any information gathered is confidential and will not be shared without your consent unless the release of information is required by law or public interest considerations (you can read more within Privacy Policy). Your prescriptions and treatment plans are personalised for you only, please do not share these with other people as this may cause them harm.

It is important that you do not attend any sessions while under the influence of drugs of cognitive impairment or alcohol so you can gain the most from each consultation.

Any treatment carries unique risks, even traditional medicine, and complementary therapies are not exempt. However, we will always investigate possible interactions with allopathic medications to prioritise your safety. We source all products from reputable suppliers and use only the highest-quality herbs, flower essences, teas, homeopathic, and nutraceuticals. Be aware that, despite our best efforts, you may have allergies to these products that you may not be aware of. If you experience any adverse reactions, please contact us immediately at 0424 139 037, and STOP taking your prescription. In the case of an emergency or serious adverse reactions, we ask you to contact your GP or emergency services immediately.

You remain responsible for your physical, emotional, and mental well-being always. We do not diagnose, treat, or make any claims to cure any disease or illness, we will work with you to improve your quality of life. If you are working with another practitioner, please inform them and us to ensure collaborative care for your optimal health. They will need to be aware of any suggested herbs, nutraceuticals, diet, and lifestyle changes that you are considering. Please don't stop taking medications without medical advice. If we feel your needs go beyond our scope of services, we will refer you to another suitable practitioner and offer you support throughout the transition.

If any concerns arise during our work together, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Our work is not a substitute for medical advice, therapy, or counselling. If you need further support, please let us know.

Indemnity

We do not make any guarantees about the accuracy of any material displayed on this website, or the products or, services, offered, except for any non-excludable consumer guarantees and other consumer protection provisions set out in the Australian Consumer Law. We are human and errors may occur despite our best intentions. If you see something that doesn’t seem right, please let us know and we will amend it promptly.

While we make all reasonable efforts to ensure that this website and our services and products meet the highest standards of best practice, if something does go wrong that is not a direct result of our negligence, misrepresentation, or deliberate fault, you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or related to our website, any products or services purchased through it, or any material posted on it, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable, and regardless of the nature of the claim.

Payment Terms

All prices on our website are in Australian dollars and are subject to GST if applicable, which will be added at checkout for Australian clients.

All payments made through this website are processed using a trusted third-party payment provider. We do not have access to your account details. Any financial information you enter is stored under the payment provider’s security policy. We also accept direct deposit.

Payment is due at the times indicated when prompted.

We do offer AfterPay as a payment plan option.

All outstanding balances are to be paid within 30 days of the item or service invoiced.

If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, you agree to pay all costs, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor’s costs, that we may incur in taking steps to recover any money that you owe to us, regardless of whether legal proceedings are issued in relation to the debt.

Refund Policy

We do not offer a refund if you change your mind or cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, please consider carefully whether a booking is right for you before you make your payment.

If you have purchased a product from us that you believe is faulty, please contact us via info@ginacrowe.com.au. Products are manufactured and shipped by third-party providers. We will action these within the terms and conditions of our suppliers. Therefore, any goods that arrive faulty, broken or in a condition not expected we will attempt to rectify this with our supplier and issue a refund, exchange or store credit where possible. All refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment.

We take our obligations seriously and operate completely under Australian Consumer Law.

However, even if there is a major problem, our liability is strictly limited to:

  • replacing the goods or providing the services again; or

  • if we are unable to do so within a reasonable time, refunding the full amount that you have paid to us.

We want all customers to be happy and satisfied with their purchase. If you feel that there is any problem with our services, please let us know within 72 hours of the end of the session. We are keen to understand what has gone wrong if you are unhappy so that we can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution. If you are unhappy or unsatisfied please contact us to discuss. We really want to provide great services and products and our aim is to continually improve to help as many people as possible, so your feedback is important to us.

Delivery of services

Consultations will be delivered either face-to-face at our clinic or online. Any products suggested will be processed through our supplier ‘Ariya Health’ who pack and ship products direct to you. We do not offer pickup.

Appointment Policies

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice (during business hours, Monday to Friday) if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to help someone else in the time that has been reserved for you. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the cost of the service. We do apologise but there are many people in need of our help, and we could have booked someone else if, sufficient notice was given. Preparation time is required before all consultations and research are conducted to ensure we provide you with the best advice for your needs.

We are reasonable people and understand that we are all human, so if you are prevented from attending a consultation due to emergency circumstances beyond your control, please contact us to discuss the situation.

If we (the practitioner) are unable to attend our scheduled appointment due to an emergency, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule as our priority.

For online appointments, please ensure that you are in a private and quiet area this is to ensure utmost privacy and confidentiality as we discuss sensitive information. With that in mind, locations like a cafe, restaurant, library or any shared space is an inappropriate location to conduct the consultation.

By booking a telehealth appointment you agree to be soley responsible for security of the environment in which you choose to hold the consultation.

For all other disputes, if we are unable to find a mutually acceptable solution within a reasonable time, we agree to pursue mediation and alternative methods of dispute resolution, with litigation being a last resort.

These Website Terms & Conditions are subject to the governing law of New South Wales. Regardless of where you live in the world, you irrevocably agree that if the dispute resolution processes fail, the courts of NSW, and the Commonwealth of Australia, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
